OZZY OSBOURNE To Perform On 'After-Dark Edition' Of CBS' 'The Talk'
December 22, 2014Ozzy Osbourne will guest on the Monday, January 12 "after-dark edition" of "The Talk", the CBS talk show co-hosted by Ozzy's wife and manager Sharon. Ozzy will also perform on the program.
As previously reported, Ozzy will headline an event called Ozzfiesta at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico from May 27 to May 31, 2015. In addition to a headlining performance from Ozzy, the five-day festival will include a dinner party hosted by Sharon Osbourne, an opening night party featuring a special acoustic set by Zakk Wylde, a question-and-answer session with Ozzy and his band, a BLACK LABEL SOCIETY full concert, a Comedy Club Night with stand-up sets from Jim Norton and Jim Florentine, a charity golf tournament benefiting the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program and more.
Tickets are available at www.ozzfiesta.com. Ticket prices start at $1,899 per adult, $499 for children aged four to 17 and $100 for toddlers aged three or younger.
Ozzfiesta seems to be a continuation of the occasional Ozzfest events that the Osbournes have staged since Ozzfest itself ended as a summer tour in 2007.
Ozzy told The Pulse Of Radio not long ago that being rejected by another festival inspired him and Sharon to launch Ozzfest in 1996. "She tried to get me on Lollapalooza, and they turned around to Sharon and said, 'You know what, we don't think there's a spot for Ozzy in this music anymore,'" he said. "So she came home, pissed off, and she said, 'We'll do our own damn show.' So she booked me a few shows, it sold out overnight, and everything after that Sharon did on her own, you know."
Ozzy's solo career retrospective, "Memoirs Of A Madman", was released on October 7.
